Position Summary:
The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for ensuring 100% compliance for receipt and maintenance of required documents and records for students enrolled full time at iSVA and are served under Special Education or 504. This position also supports parents and students with the on-boarding process and updating records throughout the year, including sharing and requesting records with other districts and campuses as students enroll or withdraw. This is an in person position.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Accredited Senior High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma/GED
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience

Experience with office support in a fast paced, customer based environment.

Two years of office experience with a focus on recordkeeping with experience in maintenance of student records in a public school environment (preferred)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity and knowledge of basic “netiquette” for online and e-mail communication.
- Must have familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including Google Suite of products.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions ensuring attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, while prioritizing tasks daily.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with students, families, office team, teachers, administration, and outside district personnel.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Front line customer service via phone, email and in-person for parents, students and staff
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Process applications and guide families through the enrollment process, including receipt of required documents.
- Request records for newly enrolled students via the Texas Records Exchange system and share records of withdrawn students with requesting districts.
- Create and maintain digital and physical records for all enrolled students using a Student Information System (Genius).
- Receive and mail notices and documents to/from parents.
- Communicate regularly with faculty, staff, administration, students, and families.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all of our families and students on a daily basis.
- Provide clear instructions to parents/students via phone and email.
- Attend team meetings as required.
- Training in all areas is to be provided in all aspects of this position by the Enrollment Manager.
- Creating student profiles in eSPED.
- Securing documents related to Special Programs.
- Some travel required.
- Other office duties as assigned.
