Job Description:

Under the direction of the Director(s) of Special Education, the Special Education Behavior Specialist will provide leadership and assistance to campus staff in the development and implementation of positive behavior supports for students with significant behavioral concerns.

Regular district-wide travel to multiple work locations as assigned. The person in this position needs to have the ability to be creative and innovative and to be a problem-solver and strategic thinker. Other abilities include maintaining emotional control under stress, maintaining professional interactions, leadership, multitasking, and performing under tight deadlines. May require occasional prolonged and irregular hours Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
